Enrollment of foreign students
A person who completed a four-year secondary education can enrol in the first year of an undergraduate and integrated academic study programme offered by the University and the School of Electrical Engineering. Each study programme may specify which types of four-year secondary schools are considered suitable for admission.
A foreign citizen can enrol in the study programme under the same conditions as a citizen of the Republic of Serbia, provided that their foreign secondary school qualification has been in accordance with the Law and the general act of the University. A foreign citizen pays tuition fees during the entire education period, unless otherwise determined by an international agreement.
To meet the specific requirements of a study programme, candidates may be required to submit a medical certificate confirming their fitness for study as part of the application process.
In the admission process, candidates have equal rights that cannot be limited on the basis of gender, race, marital status, skin colour, language, religion, political beliefs, nationality, social or ethnic origin, disability or other similar grounds, position or circumstances.
The candidate has the right to enrol in the study programme if they are on the final ranking list up to the number provided by the call for admission, and if they have achieved at least 30 points.
A candidate – foreign citizen, when applying for the call, in addition to other documents, submits a decision on recognition of a foreign school document on completion of
secondary school or a certificate that the procedure has begun, if the secondary school was completed abroad.
When enrolling, the candidate foreign citizen is obliged to submit to the Faculty the following documents:
- a certificate of his/ her medical insurance for the academic year of enrolment
- a certificate of proficiency in Serbian or another language in which the study programme is conducted.
Note: Proficiency in Serbian is mandatory for study programmes conducted in the Serbian language. All BSc programmes offered at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, are in Serbian only.
